From a young age, Isabella was drawn to the world of media and storytelling. She fondly remembers sitting in front of the TV as a child, delivering pretend weather reports. That early passion evolved into a deep love for media production, where she now uses visual storytelling to entertain, inform, and inspire. The learning opportunities within the Arts, Entertainment, and Design Career Cluster have exploded at Greenbrier High School, and Isabella is the perfect fit for student leader and intern within the school’s Media Creation (Broadcasting) Program. Whether through camera angles, color grading, or powerful narratives, she believes in the power of media to connect with people in unique ways.

Beyond her academic and extracurricular achievements, Isabella’s journey has been shaped by resilience. She was adopted at the age of four, and growing up, she faced challenges due to differences between her and her parents. Isabella shared, “my parents and I don’t share the same ethnicity and that seemed to sit uneasily with some of my peers,” but she decided to grow from these challenges. Instead of letting adversity define her, Isabella turned it into a strength, becoming an advocate and a source of support for others. She prides herself on being a welcoming presence to anyone who needs encouragement—always ready with a warm hug.

Isabella’s contributions to Greenbrier High School extend far beyond the classroom. Through her work in media production, she has created news packages that highlight student achievements and important stories within the district. Her dedication to representing Greenbrier through photography, videography, and professional communication has helped keep both students and the broader community informed. Beyond our community, Isabella has received many accolades at film festivals across Arkansas as well as out of state for her short films and other projects.

Describing herself in one word, Isabella chooses passionate. Whether she’s building sets for school productions, playing volleyball, or perfecting a news segment, she pours her heart into everything she does. That same drive fuels her future aspirations—after graduating, she plans to attend the University of Central Arkansas to pursue a degree in journalism with a focus on broadcast and a minor in mass communication. Her dream is to work at a local news station, keeping her community informed, before eventually attending law school to become a civil rights attorney.
