The Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce celebrated Ben Damron, and his business, Apex Tax and Accounting with a green ribbon welcome. Apex Tax and Accounting is located at 266 Hwy 65 North in Conway (close to JR's Hobby Horse and Stars and Studs Boutique.)
"All it takes is having a conversation and building that relationship when it comes to choosing the right accountant for you or your business" shares Damron. Apex Tax and Accounting opened in August of 2020 after Damron began working from home for a regional accounting firm and realized, he would rather be working for himself and running his own business.
After beginning with just a handful of accounts, he quickly grew to now processing over 250 returns and stays extremely busy. He adds, "We have been blessed with the growth of the business and needed a place to be able to expand." The beautiful rock building that now houses Apex Tax definitely catches your eye and truly makes you feel welcome when you walk in. The building also serves as a remote work space for his wife Megan.
When asked, "What made you want to get into the accounting business?" He shared, "I just really enjoy helping people. I serve a lot of folks with corporations, small business, farms, start ups, and individual clients. I prefer to work with someone where a few hundred dollars means something to them." Working for people is something that comes natural to Damron, as he volunteers not only as a coach for a travel ball team, but serves at the mayor of Holland. Damron has also been in the accounting industry for over 25 years.
Apex Tax and Accounting also provides sales tax reporting and payroll services. For further details about their services, give them a call at (501) 301-0986 or stop by their new location. The Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce wishes them success on their new location and continued business!
