Herschel Hall is Greenbrier's premier event venue location. Not only are we celebrating them as our 2022 New Business of the Year at our annual chamber banquet, but as our Business of the Month in March. Located in the heart of Greenbrier on Broadview Street, Herschel Hall hosts a variety of special events from weddings, family reunions, outdoor movies, business meetings, and more. The facility offers a full service kitchen, beautiful bridal suite, breakout rooms and two main spaces, The Hearth Room and the Great Room.

When you walk into the Hearth Room, you will want to sit a while.  Daytime events will be washed in a bright and airy natural light, slowly fading to a warm ambient glow for evening gatherings. An oversized fireplace invites guests to relax and stay cozy, while an elegant corner platform serves as a perfect medium for the focal point of your event. The Hearth Room was specifically designed with one thing in mind - hosting spectacular gatherings. 120 guests can fit comfortably in banquet-style seating, with ample space for food service.

At the heart of the Great Room is a 250 seat auditorium, infused with elegance and dripping with detailed perfection. Every single aspect of the room was carefully crafted to be a canvas for you to create an unforgettable event. Whether you have your guests set up in auditorium style seating, or banquet-style around tables, your event with surely be special in the Great Room. An endless array of sound, lights, and video capabilities - The Great Room can instantly transform into anything you can dream up.

Herschel Hall is owned by Chris Ward and Trey McClurkin, it is named after co-owner Trey McClurkin’s late father, Herschel McClurkin. “Anyone that crossed paths with Hershel McClurkin, -it is difficult to put into words… the spirit of that man. There has never been anyone that exemplifies the true love of Christ, for all people, of all walks of life. He has done everything with integrity and excellence. When we were thinking of what we wanted this facility to be… we wanted to have the spirit of Herschel McClurkin. It is our prayer, that we can live up to the namesake. It is a big one,” shares Stephanie Ward.

Herschel Hall has already made a splash in the community by hosting launch parties for businesses, church services, weddings, and so much more in 2022. Their first event was Kayle Browning’s Silver Medal welcome home celebration.

It is with great excitement that many more events, with that same spirit will happen right here in the heart of Greenbrier at Herschel Hall. Join us in celebrating Herschel Hall as our New Business of the Year at our annual banquet, 6 PM Thursday at Legacy Acres, April 7th.
