Thad Kilpatrick welcomed guest to his boxing facility today in Greenbrier as the chamber celebrated an official Green Ribbon Welcome! The Greenbrier Boxing Club is located next to Walmart behind Apex Athletics.
Kilpatrick shared with chamber members that his facility is open Monday through Friday every day at 5:30. Here, he trains kids as young as 6 to around 29, the sport of boxing and what it takes to be in the ring. Individuals can simply show up and jump in on the fun. He shared that he had been boxing since he was a child and knew the need for something like this in this area. “I was in my first fight when I was 8, and the rest is history” he said.
Regardless of skill level, individuals can sign up and join in on the fun for $100 a month with no commitment. Kilpatrick also offers one week free trials and adds, “Boxing is the perfect sport to build not only muscle, discipline, but also confidence!”
